STUDENT BIOGRAPHY

Billy Sanders is currently in his fifth year of the Architectural Engineering Program at The Pennsylvania State University. ​In may of 2017, he will graduate with his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in the Construction Management option. Mr. Sanders is a member of the Pennsylvania State Chapter of the Student Society of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence (S:PACE), and also a student member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

During the past three summers, Mr. Sanders has furthered his engineering knowledge whilst attaining real life experience. His first internship acclimated him to the construction world as an Engineering, Scientific, and Techincal Intern at PennDOT. His next two summers, and during the school semesters, he interned with a Mechanical building design firm, JPT Architects. This internship provided him with valuable information in the coordination and cooperation of trades, using modern software, within the design industry. In the near future, Mr. Sanders looks to gain an entry position to continue to grow as a future engineer and a person.

Outside of academics Mr. Sanders is a proud five year Penn State football season ticket holder. Billy enjoys outdoor activities, hiking many of the trails during his career at Happy Valley. In his spare time he draws moment diagrams and plays Revit.
